EASY Addictive Heat Brownies

EASY Addictive Heat Brownies

These brownies are decadently rich and fudgy, with a bold kick of heat that lingers
perfectly on the palate. The spice level is completely customizable, letting you create
the ideal balance of sweetness and warmth.

Ingredients
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs, at room temperature
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp Addictive Heat spice blend (or adjust to taste)
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick
spray, then line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy
removal.

2. Melt the chocolate and butter:
Combine the chopped chocolate and melted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
Cover the bowl with a paper towel to prevent splattering, then microwave in 30-
second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and glossy. Allow to cool
slightly. Mixture should look silky and smooth.

3. Mix the wet ingredients:
Using a spoon, blend the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture. Add the eggs,
one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. Incorporate the dry ingredients:
Gently fold in the flour and Addictive Heat spice blend until just combined. Be
careful not to overmix.

5. Add the chocolate chips:
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips for bursts of extra chocolaty goodness.

6. Bake the brownies:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 34
minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist
crumbs. If the toothpick comes out wet, bake for an additional 2 minutes,
checking frequently. Do not overbake!

7. Cool and serve:
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. Use the parchment paper to lift
them out, then slice into squares.
