Baked Salmon with Stella Foods Bright Pepper

The succulent salmon fillet, generously seasoned with Stella Foods Bright Pepper herb and spice blend, a harmonious blend of paprika, lemon zest, and a touch of cayenne pepper that adds a delightful zing to each bite. Fresh herbs like parsley and dill contrast with the deep flavors of the salmon and Bright Pepper.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large salmon fillet (about 1-1.5 lbs)
  • 1-2 tablespoons Stella Foods Bright Pepper herb & spice blend
  • 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, or a combination), roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional, as the blend contains pepper)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare Salmon: Place the salmon fillet in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Season Salmon: Generously sprinkle Stella Foods Bright Pepper herb & spice blend all over the top of the salmon fillet, ensuring even coverage. Add a pinch of salt if desired, keeping in mind the pepper in the blend.
  5. Add Herbs and Lemon: Scatter the chopped fresh herbs around and over the salmon. Arrange the thin slices of lemon on top of the salmon.
  6. Bake: Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the fillet.
